Volunteer at The Well
We believe one of the best ways to get involved and create community is to serve in the local church. From our observation, if a person comes to church but doesn’t find a place to serve or make new friends, they will usually not stay around long. It is our desire that you would not just attend, but belong. There are tons of places to get involved and do something you love. There is a place for you! We would like to challenge you to serve 1-2 hours a month at The Well. If you are interested in serving please contact us by clicking here.
First Impressions Team
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. The only thing required to be on this team is a smile and a passion for people.
1. Greeters – You will open the door and welcome people into the theater doors.
2. Guest Services – You will provide important information on serving opportunities, groups, and events. You will also be available to answer any questions and give away a free gift to our guests.
3. Refreshments – Keeping the coffee containers and plates full are as important as keeping the area well stocked and clean.?
4. Ushers – Helping people find a seat, serving communion, and helping to receive the offering make this area so important.
5. Parking Attendants – You are our first impression to people as you help greet people and help them find a place to park. We know waiting in traffic is never fun.
6. Prayer Partners - If you have a passion to help people, counsel with others, and have a consistent prayer life, we would like to invite you to be available after our gatherings.
Production Team
Do you enjoy creating sights and sounds? This team runs the lights, video and sound on Sunday’s, and they are definitely techie friendly.
1. Band - If you sing or play an instrument, help this team of musicians inspire us to passionately honor God through music. There is an audition that is required.
2. Audio – running and operating the soundboard, as well as recording each Sunday gathering is a responsibility. Prior knowledge of sound systems is required. Additional training will be available. From time to time the audio team may be called on to be involved in working with the Band and Worship Leader in advance to gatherings. Also, editing audio and creating CD’s is an important part of this ministry.
3. Computer – Run computers and record the gathering weekly. Assist our IT staff with various computer and software responsibilities.
4. Video – The Well provides a high-tech, video experience for each gathering. If you have experience with high-tech computer equipment and video there are exciting opportunities for you to serve. Training is provided.
5. Photography – If you have a passion for pics we would love for you to go crazy. This is open for anyone that would enjoy snapping away during gatherings or events.
6. Lights – This is an easy opportunity for someone to make sure everything is set up, lights are dimmed, and doesn’t require much time.
7. Set up / Tear Down Assistants - Because we are a mobile church, we need hands and feet to come early and help behind the scenes by setting everything up and tearing it down.
8. Trailer / Outdoor Signage - If you own a truck or SUV and can help hitch up our trailer this is the job for you! We currently have a rotation and would only require once a month. You would need to arrive at the theater by 7am and be available to drop off the trailer following the gathering.
9. Lobby / Indoor Signage - This is for those of you that have a decorating bug in you. This would require you to arrive 1.5 hours before the gathering to set up our lobby area consisting of signs and all of our tables.
Well Kids Team
If you love kids and love God, this may be your fit. We offer a safe, clean environment where parents can feel comfortable and at ease. All volunteers that help with minors are required to take a risk management class and complete a background check. Almost all of the kids volunteer roles require you to be 1.5 hours early to a gathering to help set up.
1. Well Nursery (birth – pre K)
Your little ones have their own room where they can crawl around and play with as many toys as they would like, as well as eat some snacks. At any time you can peek through the window into the nursery room and check on your infant.
2. Well Pre-Schoolers
We teach preschoolers to know about God through songs, crafts, and creative small group lessons.
3. Well Elementary Kids
Children ages K-5 have the opportunity to experience a fun-filled big idea during each gathering. This is designed to be an interactive, high-energy, and high-tech experience. If you would like to be a part of our Well kids team, training is available.
4. Check in
This position requires availability thirty minutes before a service and the first fifteen minutes of the actual gathering two times a month. Training is provided. Each parent comes to you to sign in their child and receives a numbered sticker. (background and reference checks required)
5. Audio / Video
The Kids team also uses video and computer to enhance the experience. If you are a tech lover and a lover of kids this is perfect for you.
